Heswall Parish is located on the Wirral, Merseyside and is part of Chester Diocese. We are two churches and seven congregations, who together are looking to love God and serve him under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. A Rocha Silver EcoChurch

We are delighted to announce we have achieved the A Rocha Silver EcoChurch Award. This recognises steps we have taken to care for God's earth across key areas of church life including worship and teaching, management of church buildings and land, community and global engagement and lifestyle. 

 

Fairtrade Church 

Fairtrade is making a real difference to the lives of more than 7 million farmers, workers and their families in 59 developing countries. We are a Fairtrade Church. As such, our Church commits to:

• Use Fairtrade products wherever possible (at least tea, coffee and sugar) and to share this information with congregants. 
• Celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight and integrate Fairtrade into the life of our places of worship through other faith-based holidays, sermons and services. 
• Engage with other Fairtrade campaigns and connect with community groups, such as schools and towns, where possible.
